About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Senior Process Development Engineer, which will be responsible for leading the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for our next generation wearable devices. This includes designing and implementing process improvements, troubleshooting production issues, and developing new processes to support the launch of a revolutionary new product. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and driven, with a strong desire to grow and advance within our rapidly growing company - with the ambition to become a leader within the organization. The role would include working with a strongly multi-disciplinary team, including product Design and Verification, Chemistry, and Electronics.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Specify, design, implement, release, and support the development of protocols, reports, jigs and stations for manufacturing department

  • Work closely with intradisciplinary team of engineers to define appropriate requirements for manufacturing steps 

  • Develop test protocols that quantify success for each manufacturing process step 

  • Develop repeatable manufacturing processes and use semi-automated application equipment to meet functional requirements 

  • Optimise processes to improve throughput and reduce failure rates 

  • Assist in the preparation of Manufacturing Road Maps for technical progress, tools and development 


Requirements:

  • Statistical Analysis practical skills

  • Comfortable working in early development processes to generate baseline nominal parameters

  • Solidworks design and fabrication  

  • Design for printing and machining

  • Verification & Validation 

  • Working with IQ/OQ/PQ/PV 

  • Test Protocol and Report generation 


  • Team Integration:

    • Work fluently with other engineering disciplines  

    • Elicit requirements from stakeholders 

  • Project Management of time & resources, and owning timing plans for work 


Preferred: 

  • Experience in medical devices or other regulated industry (automotive, aerospace, industrial) 

  • Lean Six Sigma experience

  • Solidworks Certifications

  • Database generation 

  • PLC Programming 

  • Vision System Automation 

  • High Volume Manufacturing experience 

  • JMP or statistical analysis software
